Skincare benefits of Vitamin c derivative
In cosmetics, vitamin C is well loved by those with dull skin due to its ability to help promote radiance and even skin tone (visibly reducing the appearance of dark spots) by limiting an overproduction of melanin. However, in a pure state, it is unstable and breaks down quickly when exposed to light or heat. To help guarantee its performance in our formulas, Clarins Laboratories uses a stabilised derivative of vitamin C.
