It is said that, in Ancient Rome, white lupine seeds were once used as coins by Roman actors in their plays and comedies. Today, the white lupine is used as a “green” fertilizer thanks to its roots which have the capacity to enrich the soil with nitrogen. Throughout history, white lupine seeds have been used by humankind as food and for their medicinal benefits.
Skincare benefits of Organic white lupine peptides
In cosmetics, organic white lupine peptides help to encourage the contraction of fibroblasts for a visible lift effect.
Responsible sourcing
The organic white lupine supply channel is based in western France and we use a co-product from the food industry, grown in accordance with organic farming principles. As a nitrogen-fixing species, white lupine requires very few inputs to grow. Through this sourcing process, our partner contributes to the region’s economic growth and helps recover local products (France).
