The power of plants
The tea tree is a small bush with persistent leaves that flowers twice a year. Its leaves are harvested during the hottest months of the year while the plant is in full bloom. Originally from rainy tropical forests in Asia (China, Birma, Laos, Thailand and Vietnam), tea was brought to Europe by Portuguese and Dutch explorers on their return from China in the 17th century. It is now cultivated in all tropical and subtropical regions.

In cosmetics, white tea extract helps fight the harmful effects of free radicals. Combined with nipplewort extract (organic plant), white tea extract also helps protect against the effects of exposure to exhaust gas pollution.
Responsible sourcing
Our extract is obtained from a harvest of young buds and leaves from white tea plants endemic to China. The production process is particularly precise: the harvest is carried out by hand, then left to dry in the sun. The harvesting in spring, sometimes over a period of just two days, makes white tea varieties some of the rarest and most cherished in the world.
