Protecting soil and biodiversity is a long-standing commitment at Clarins. Our senna extract is grown in Burkina Faso using sustainable farming practices in line with the requirements of our responsible sourcing charter. Its leaves are collected in line with good practices for the harvesting of wild plants. Just 30% of them are gathered to ensure the health of the plant. Senna can be invasive, so the harvesting sites are managed in order to prevent the propagation of the plant in the cultivated areas.
